Hi, I got Paragon NTFS for Mac 15 a couple of days back. It has been working fine with all my other drives. However this morning I was trying to move some data from my camera memory card to another hard drive but Paragon is mounting this NTFS HDD in 'read-only' mode. I cannot find any other options to switch this to 'write' mode. I have tried restarting my computer but the issue still persists. Attaching the screenshot, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I am running Mac OS High Sierra v 10.13.1 on MacBook Air 2017.
Ntfs Read Only Macos
I recently purchased a WD external 1TB hard drive from target. The sales associate assured me several times that the device would work on MAC and PC out of the box (Target’s fault not WD). I took the device home and downloaded some footage from my PC expecting to be able to pull it up on my MAC laptop, which did work, but when I tried to put new footage from the MAC on the hard drive, I got. The NTFS file system is a system specifically optimized for Windows in the way that it organizes the data on the drive. While this file system is readable on Macs because OS X can rearrange the data as it is reading it, the way that NTFS writes the files to the storage device is not; hence, you can read, but not write. When it comes to Windows NTFS-formatted USB drives, Macs are only built for reading. That means you can open files stored on those drives, but you can’t edit, copy, move, or delete those files using your Mac. To write files, you need an add-on NTFS-driver. Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Tuxera is easy-to-use software that makes this all possible. Generally, the external hard drive read-only issue is mainly caused by the NTFS file system, disk permission, and disk errors. But these can be easily fixed by using an NTFS for Mac tool, by changing the disk permissions, and by repairing the drive using Disk Utility.

Mac Read Write Ntfs
Mounty is using the Apple kernel driver. It allows read/write mount of NTFS drives only with the 'nobrowse' option. The mount point becomes hidden and disappears from Desktop and Finder menu. To make it easier to re-locate the drive I have added the 'Show in Finder' option in Mounty menu.
